Den 3 februari 1959 störtade ett plan med bland annat artisterna Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper och Ritchie Valens när de åkte igenom en snöstorm.

Dagen har dubbats "The day the music died" efter Don McLeans sång American Pie.

Har hedrat dagen genom att lyssna på musik, ta pulsen på den och konstatera att den fortfarande lever. Tänkte även titta på...hör och häpna, en dokumentär om "the day the music died".
